Growing your baby puts additional stress on your mind and on your body. Professional bodywork sessions designed just for your personal needs may help to reduce stress and increase vitality. Your sessions with Meghan can include Swedish-Esalen massage, Cranialsacral therapy, Reiki, Reflexology, and Acupressure.
These bodywork modalities are effective in:
  •  Reducing high blood pressure
  • Strengthening the immune system
  • Relieving muscle tension
  • Removing toxins
  • Improving sleep
  • Reducing anxiety and/or the "baby blues"
  • Cultivating physical restoration & emotional relaxation

Bodywork sessions during your postpartum period also may enhance your recovery from birthing including medically and/or surgically assisted births. Additionally, bodywork can help to reduce fatigue, improve digestions and alleviate other common postpartum symptoms. Home visits are available for mothers on bed rest and/or recovering postpartum.

Meghan's training includes professional certifications in Prenatal and Postpartum massage therapy methods and in Reiki and Cranialsacral therapy which are safe, nurturing, and effective during any stage of your pregnancy, birth or postpartum. She completed these certifications at the Reiki Center of the East Bay in Berkeley, CA in 2013 and the McKinnon Institute in Oakland, CA in 2002 respectively. Additionally, she completed certifications in Swedish-Esalen massage, Reflexology, and Acupressure at the Body Therapy Center in Palo Alto, CA in 1998.
